Apple bans 'sexy' iPhone apps

Posted in : News

(added few years ago!)

People shopping for apps for their iPhone or iPod will find a new ban on some items on iTunes. Apple has tightened its restrictions on "sexy" or suggestive apps. Out are women (or men) in bikinis. Also on Apple's list: No skin, no silhouettes that indicate nudity and no sexual connotations or innuendo. Two apps that appear to be okay and were still on iTunes at last check are Playboy and the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
