This may sound like another bout of iPhone 5 rumors, but the iPhone 5 could indeed be something new entirely. Apple may have a hard time marketing a smartphone next year without increasing screen size. CNet’s Brooke Crothers cites sources that say that the iPhone 5 is a “complete redesign.”
Some sources say that Jobs spent much of his time over the last year developing the iPhone 5, and thus wasn’t very involved in the release of the iPhone 4S. Jobs was likely involved in the integration of Siri in the iPhone 4S however, as it matches his philosophy of easy-to-use technology that turns out to be amazing.
