Buy iPod Nano 6th Generation 16GB Edition at 5% DiscountEver since Apple launched the iPod Nano 6th Generation 16 GB edition, it has created a massive rage among music lovers worldwide. However, with Apple in no mood to slash its iPod nano prices for Christmas, music devotees are desperately saving every penny to bring home this awe-inspiring device. Nevertheless, amazon.com is giving you this opportunity to bring home a brand new 16 GB Graphite iPod nano for just $169.95 and this incidentally includes shipping costs as well. Not only do you save $9.05 or (5%) but you can now save even more by opting for used nano deals that come for as little as $155.00.
iPod Nano Watch

Wilson had originally hoped to raise $15,000 to begin the manufacturing of the conversion kits. When the smoke cleared he far surpassed that initial goal and even broke a Kickstarter record by raising $941,648 from 13,511 backers in just 30 days. Those who pledged $25 or more will receive the TikTok Multi-Touch Watch Kit, while those who pledged $50 or more will receive the LunaTik Multi-Touch Watch Conversion Kit which includes aerospace grade aluminum from one of Apple’s suppliers. Pledges of $70 or more got you both kits. International backers had to add an additional $15 for shipping while shipments to Canada required an additional $10 to pledges.

iPods Still Matter

I just got a 6th generation iPod Nano after my Zune 8GB’s battery started going wonky. I’d be an hour into a two to three hour run and even though it was fully charged when I left, it would die mid-way through my run. Microsoft pretty much abandoned the market for small players when they came out with the Zune HD and discontinued all previous models. The Zune HD is nice, but way too big to carry on your arm for a few hours as you exercise. I decided to convert my library to iTunes and get the new cracker-sized iPod. I love the iPod, but iTunes is a dog. It blows my mind that Apple is responsible for that piece of software, but I digress. The iPod Nano is a fantastic piece of hardware and the software on it isn’t too shabby, though it still requires me being more hands on with it than I’d like when I just want to listen to several podcasts in order.

Comparing iPod Touch and Nano

The Nano resembles an iPod Shuffle with a screen, but there is no click wheel, as the Nano uses touch screen technology. It is slightly larger than the shuffle, but has almost the same depth and also carries the clip so that this iPod can be attached to a lapel. The Shuffle is slightly lighter at 12.5 grammes against the Nano’s 21.1g. The 8G version I had costs 5,400 baht, while the 16G is available for 6,600 baht. It comes in a neat little box (imagine how this would hang nicely from a Christmas tree) with the headphones and connector. There are seven colours to choose from, although the (Product) Red one is only sold in the online store, where free engraving is also an option.
