There is no question that Apple’s iPod Touch 4th Generation will continue to hold strong to the top 100 gifts of 2010. So far Amazon.com has the iPod Touch as being the 3rd hottest selling item this Christmas behind Kindle. This Christmas, holiday shoppers are scrambling to try and get their orders in before the deadline is up. Consumers who did not snag one of these up for Black Friday can find some of the same deals at Amazon.com while supplies last.
This 4th Generation iPod Touch is a clone of Apple’s iPhone4 without the 3G mobile phone technology. Users can still access the internet with Wi-Fi and browse web pages in full HTML, giving the same look and feel but without the network. Some additional features that were also added giving users the full experience without the cost, such as a 3.5” 960×640 (326 ppi) “Retina display,” front facing VGA camera for Facetime video calling using Apple ID or email, iMovie editing, and to top it off a 720p video recording capabilities. Users will also have access to Apple apps to download applications from just about anywhere. Surf thousands of applications to personalize your phone and make it work better for you.
One of the other technical specs to rave about is the Apple A4 processor is the amount of storage you can get with the iPod. Apple is manufacturing 8GB – 64GB iPod’s which is almost comparable to 2007 PC’s. Though Apple only put its A4 processor giving it 256MB of Ram which is about ¼ of what most smart phones come with these, it is still pretty quick. Battery life puts it at around 40 hours, which is quite a bit. Users can now play worry free without worrying about squeezing the juice out prematurely. The Apple iPod is no longer a just a music device.
