New research has been carried out that shows something incredible when it comes to apps for the Apple devices. Research that has been carried out b y a company in America has shown that the daily usage of iOS devices, these include the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices, is actually larger than the daily users and viewers of many hit TV shows in the United States. This new research was carried out by a company called Flurry and the results are quite stunning.

The results of the research has found that on average, a staggering 19 million people a day will use either an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad device and they will spend an average of around 22 minutes using different apps on the device. These figures mean that the audience for these iOS devices is actually larger on a daily basis than viewers of many US TV shows including Sunday Night Football and even Dancing with the Stars. The fact that the market and daily usage of iOS apps has grown this much in just a couple of years is absolutely staggering and it is likely that it will continue to grow.
